Long live Sean Johnson...in our hearts.
Current mood: grateful
Category: Life

we straggled in in twos and threes. The losers, the artists, dorks and the hipsters. Making our way through the garden of roses, his favorite place, we came with a mission. To make sense of our loss and celebrate our grief, our friendship. Our love. Lost in sadness and confusion, we stood about unsure of what to do next, though slowly but surely, we gravitated toward one another, making our way to the spot where we were invited to share our memories, our sadness and our love for a man who made us laugh. who loved us all, and who in a twisted form of fate, brought us all together. Of course, we all just stood there. Watching the platform in silence, each of us choking on our own sadness, our own grief, our own fears...til' finally the beautiful girl in the orange shirt was called forward,"Sean made me laugh, dance and blush" Simple, but true. We all smiled to ourselves. the wave of emotion began to build, moving forward, bringing our memories to the stage, ready to share all we knew of a man that seemed to always be happy, always be smiling, never afraid to love each and every one of us. whether we wanted it or not.

Lots of tears were shed, lots of hugs doled out, friends and enemies alike rejoiced at the thought of sean johnson, a.k.a OldSchool, and after all the tears were shed, we could walk away smiling because even in the end, his magnanimity brought us together. Made us love one another. If only to get closer to that radiance that he posessed.

thanks for everything Sean.

Thanks for the laughter, the flirting, the friendship and lessons in love that we have learned.
